I love whenever I get the opportunity to capture families. However, this session was even more special to me because it is a session of my own family. They visited Door County from California for a week back in Auguast. I am so happy I was able to do this session.
The session took place at our grandparents’ house, which offered gorgeous greens as well as a water view (the perfect location). Morgan is one and a half and completely adorable. The red chair she is sitting on belonged to my Grandpa (her great grandpa), so we thought it would be special to use that as a prop. This also allowed him to be a part of the session. And, even better, Morgan loved that chair because then she could “be like everyone else.”
Since we had their whole family in one place it was the perfect opportunity to take some generational photographs. It is so special that there were 4 generations in one place.
I am thrilled to share this session!
and thank you to my Auntie Sue for suggesting I get a photo with grandma too (and Zane for taking it).

Ana…these pictures are so incredible. What a blessing to have 4 generations all together in Sturgeon Bay! So special!
