Genres of Fine Art Photography

August 7, 2013 by Ana Collins Leave a Comment

There are so many genres in fine art photography and I was only able to focus on a few but this has helped me step outside my comfort zone and try something new.

» Cityscapes: While we were in Milwaukee, my mom and I went to the Third Ward, which was perfect for cityscapes.

» Landscapes: Sturgeon Bay seemed to be the perfect place for landscapes. We have such a variety of scenes and I cannot wait to get out and take more.

» Still Life: This was difficult for me because it is not my “normal” subject. I loved how the light brings out the texture of the lime.

» Abstract: I am really loving abstract photography. It is an excuse to break all of the “rules” and follow my creative vision.
