the blog circle theme this month is shallow DOF, which is a lot of fun. these images were taken in Lake Linden at a cabin we rented for a week. I used my lensbaby as well as my macro lens to get a very shallow DOF.
continue the circle starting with Erica to see other gorgeous photos taken with a shallow DOF

Wow Ana! I love the way you can change your depth of field, shifting it completely so you get a different perspective. Nice job. I love all your flower pictures and think they are so pretty! I love your perspective, beautiful job.
Ana, it looks like you had a really fun week renting the cabin. Using the macro shows how narrow the focal plane is when you are shooting with a shallow DOF, good idea to use that lens.
I love the photos of the flowers in the sand. The contrast of texture and the details are beautiful! I also like the sparks of the fire across the frame of the teen. Very cool!
Gorgeous pictures, Ana! I absolutely love the one of the flower in the sand!
Gorgeous work! I love the Lensbaby shots. Is it the Sweet 35 optic? This was a cool image story this month.
