creative exposures

July 3, 2013 by Ana Collins 1 Comment

over the next four weeks I am taking exploring creative photography with April Nienhuis. it has forced me to think deeper about my settings to help with the creative story I want to tell. since we were in Oshkosh all week, I made due with the window in the hotel room. you can see how exposing these images differently creates a different feeling, even though they are all taken minutes apart in the same location. my favorite is the first image on the left, which is underexposed. it has a sense of mysteriousness because we see him looking out the window but it is not completely clear what he is looking at.
